FLAI – Acronym of Itinerant Autonomous Light Source.
It is a manifesto for the freedom to experience light in indoor and outdoor environments. FLAI is a philosophy presented by Diomede in 2019 and designed by the creative duo MAIS project.FLAI is the concept of contemporary traveling light, expresses the domestic nomadism of 2020. The user is nomadic and demanding, he does not want constraints, he does not have a fixed seat but wants to be well served. It is an intimate, accommodating and domestic light but also versatile, free and portable. FLAI does not lead to the discovery of a place but to the re-discovery of a space.
FLAI is a portable lamp characterized by a magnetic coupling system between a lighting module and several interchangeable supports.
